5.1.2001 - $h@v3Y0ur$n@+cH PKs a rich Korean

Oddly, a lower level Korean player went hostile today without provocation. Considering his level and class (17 barbarian), and the fact that one of the Act II Sewers doors were open, $h@v3Y0ur$n@+cH figured he could find him inside somewhere and answer that challenge.

He found the FoK after only two minutes of running about and PKed the poor bastard apparently unawares. Much to the Fed's amazement, the Korean decided to bug out right away and completely left the game.

Why is this deserving of a whole article? The Korean apparently either doesn't know where his stash is, or was collecting money to pass to a gambling mule, because this guy was loaded.

Unfortunately, $h@v3Y0ur$n@+cH forgot to leave the scene of the battle untouched before he thought to take a screenshot, and so doesn't have the massive pile of gold next to the body, but this shot should help explain just why this was unusual. All of the gold in this inventory shot was taken from the body with the exception of perhaps a few hundred that were picked up from monsters killed nearby. The focus is, of course, on the ear here.

So much for that guy...

If anyone happens to see a certain character qkrtjrdnj wandering about, try to give him a repeat performance and see if he has any more gold to donate to the Feds! He definitely wasn't paying his Western Realm taxes recently...
